Afterwards, Kavishka calls Piyumi to find out what happened-to find out what the results of his actions were. Piyumi’s mother does nothing to stop her father’s assault. What ensues is a scene of beating and derogatory name calling.
But Kavishka does what he threatened to do he sends Piyumi’s father a picture of her in a towel. Believing this to be an empty threat and unable to believe that her boyfriend would do such a thing, Piyumi maintains the position that she is not ready. Once he receives them, he begins to blackmail her, threatening to send them to her father if she continues to resist and does not have sex with him. Kavishka asks her for nude pictures, which she sends him. She has refused, and continues to do so, for she is not ready.
